In April, we began the first phase of our Green Initiative. We take our responsibility seriously and are proud to announce that we’ve built on our commitment to making your club more environmentally mindful (and will continue to do so).
Most recently, we’ve implemented the following greener practices to reduce waste and to conserve energy and other natural resources:
- Testing solar thermal water heaters for our pools
- Efficient lighting with low wattage
- Eco-friendly, hands-free timer valves on toilets
- Hyper-efficient air hand dryers & 50% post consumer waste paper towels
- A recycling program with labeled receptacles
- Biodegradable & natural cleaning sanitizing products
- Environmentally friendly lotions & conditioners available
- Use of 100% recycled paper and soy inks on marketing materials
- Eco-flooring & recycled carpet tiling
- Continued member education to encourage greener choices
